Who we are
Clean Switch ("we", "us") is an independent newsletter migration service. We are the data controller for information you submit on this website, and act on your instructions when handling your subscribers' data during a migration.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to quote and perform a migration:
- Contact details you submit, such as your name, email address and newsletter URL.
- Details about your setup from the intake form, including plan, list size, domain and automations.
- Subscriber and post exports from your current platform, provided during a migration.
- Payment confirmation from Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, perform the migration you purchased, prepare your QA report, provide support and handle billing.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or contact your subscribers for any purpose.
Access to your accounts
We work through team invitations on your current and new platforms, plus either domain access or a short screen-share. We never ask for passwords or API keys. All access is removed when your support period ends.
Retention and deletion
Subscriber and post exports are deleted 14 days after cutover, and we confirm deletion to you in writing. Enquiry and billing records are kept only as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run this service:
- Vercel, for website hosting.
- Supabase, for form and job records.
- Stripe, for payments.
- Our email provider, for correspondence.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be emailed to active clients.
